TN Guard Tricare Helper is an unofficial app that helps Tennessee National Guard soldiers and Airmen navigate TRICARE Reserve Select enrollment and the Tennessee Medical Readiness Act premium reimbursement program. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Defense, TRICARE, Humana Military, TriWest, or the Tennessee Department of Military.
The app does not collect, transmit, or have any server component at all. Everything you enter — checklist progress, and the information you type into the Enrollment, Attestation, and W-4 forms — is stored only on your device.
On launch, the app checks a public, non-personalized JSON file (program links, premium amounts, deadlines) hosted on GitHub to keep that information current without requiring an app update. This request does not include any of your personal information — it's a plain file fetch, the same as loading a webpage.
If you enable the monthly reimbursement reminder, it's a local notification scheduled entirely on your device. No push notification server is involved.
The app links out to official government and contractor sites (milConnect, tricare.mil, Humana Military, TriWest) using an in-app browser. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which this policy does not cover.
Use Settings → "Clear All Saved Data" in the app at any time, or simply delete the app, to remove everything it has stored.
